Penguins can be seen in a private reserve about 90 minutes drive from Punta Arenas, Chile.
Surprisingly, the $8 entry fee is charged to all guests, even local school children. Our local guide said that his school aged children have never seen the penguins because it is too expensive, and no one gets a discount.
